SYMPOSIUM
THEME
Symposium seed and peel is a two-day event consisting of lectures, discussions, and lecture performance to explore the condensed narrative and background of this Changwon Sculpture Biennale.

By stopping the accelerated sensation of Changwon and confronting the traces and legacies of modernity scattered in this area, the symposium encompasses the 'art practices' that have been conducted alongside the conceptualization of regionalism in Asia.

Bringing the subjective attitude of exploring regionalism to the field of sculptural discourse, the artist explores the traces of the technical supports of the sculpture and draws contemporaneity as an extension of it.

In addition, we explore how the social movements in Changwon have been sensed, experienced, and documented through the mook movement in the 80s, and art archival practices, and propose a new chapter for sculpture that peels out through the city.
