Changwon Cultural Complex Dongnam Ground
Cho Jeonhwan, 3,4,5, 2024, wood, steel, 250 × 500 × 500 cm, Commissioned by the 7th Changwon Sculpture Biennale 2024

Cho Jeonhwan’s 3, 4, 5 is a physical house placed in the Dongnam Ground. The artist, a master carpenter who builds hanok (traditional Korean buildings), deploys a geodesic dome to make a place where passing people and aspects of nature are able to dwell together in time. Since ancient Greece, geometrically speaking the number 3 has stood for length, 4 for width, and 5 for the diagonal.
