On the occasion of this exhibition, artist Moon Shin’s drawings will be exhibited alongside the spiral staircase that remains in the Moonshin Art Museum, designed by the artist himself. Begun in 1991, Spiral Staircase is a work that took Moon a full year to complete. Initially constructed of concrete, it was later redone in Apitong wood. This piece illustrates Moon Shin’s interest in architecture and his fascination with the spiral staircase as a form.
