Far away, over there, the ocean

This video work follows a young painter who lives in a bustling city of Phnom Penh. He wanders around all corners of the city in search of the reason for the existence of landscape. By doing so, the artist illustrates his experience that projects life of a person who pursues the illusion of beauty. The exotic sceneries on top of the exceptional sound work evoke intrigues and curiosity in the audience. At the end of the piece, the audience will be struck by the lingering impressions and emotions when they find themselves putting back together the fragments of imageries left by the artist.
