Welcome to the website of the Changwon Sculpture Biennale.
As the only biennial in Korea that specializes in sculpture with the Changwon Sculpture Biennale, the 2010 International Moon-Shin Sculpture Symposium, which was held to inherit and develop the art spirit of the sculptor Moon-Shin teacher representing Changwon, has been reborn as the Changwon Sculpture Biennale since 2012.
It is a city that has produced world-class sculptors such as Kim Jong-young, a master of contemporary abstract sculpture in Korea, Park Jong-bae, Park Seok-won, and Kim Young-won, and fosters it as an international art festival representing Changwon City.
By presenting and exhibiting the future discourse of contemporary sculpture art based on the city of sculpture and Changwon, we will establish the Changwon Sculpture Biennale as a biennial loved by global citizens beyond Korea for its identity, continuity and change (diversity).
